Hi T!nK! My mother wanted to try a new career, so back in 1996, she got a job as the Housemother for a sorority in Texas.
A Housemother has to plan nutritious, varied, and well-balanced meals for everyone who lives in the house; maintain the cleanliness of the entire house by supervising the food service, housekeeping, and maintenance staff; and encourage proper social graces and etiquette among members.
How fast can you say, "You're fired!"? One semester.
