Just another normal letter listing her life insurance, along with some advice as to how to best insure my son's life. (Annette, by the way, is my mother-in-law.)
Life Insurance
Adam-
1. United of Omaha-$10,000
2. AARP-right noow $7000 but will increase to $15,000 in May
3. My retirement. You will get $200 a month.
Also, when Annette comes to you, I love her but I wouldn't trust her driving Truman around.
Love,
Mom

Adam... at least she stayed on the subject matter (insuring life) this time... LOL
I'm going to "blog" about your blog on Saturday... do you mind if a snag a photo of one of mom's letters?
happy day... Dixie...
oh... and if you are ok with the snag... let me know if you have a preferance.
Dixie-You're the best!
Totally cool with me...
I would use either the posted letter entitled, "After Dark" or "Resistant Form". Even the letter with just the quarter taped on it is impressive. That one is entitled, "Quarter of a Million".
Thanks!
adam
P.S. I'm putting YOU in my will.
Oh Lord! Don't tell Mom about the will... LOL
Adam, coming in from Dixie's! LOL
Your mom sure is a character! Great blog concept. ;-)
Ok, off to read more!
Thanks for checking it out, Chandy! And please help spread the neurosis! :--)
Hi Adam
I followed Dixie over here from French Lique Texas.
I am so glad I did.
Thank you for the delightful time.
Looking forward to more letters.
Happy Trails
Hi Terry-
More letters are a-comin'!
Somehow sharing this has made it all seem less mortifying to me.
Now, I actually look forward to either opening older letters from my mother, or receiving the new ones. Thanks for reading!
You have such an extraordinary mom! I hope you don't mind if I link your blog. :) Take care.
