About 20 People!

This postcard made me smile.
Back in 1996, I released my first CD of original songs called, "You Don't Know Me...from Adam". Thanks to my mother, it sold way beyond my wildest expectations!

Adam-
I told everyone at work about the CD. They are all going to buy it!
About 20 people!
Love,
Mom

I jut stumbled upon and read all of your blog.
Hilarious!
Are you heeding your mother's advice like a good boy?

Also, I can't wait to find out what happens to Uncle Michael.

Welcome aboard Lynn! Thanks for your comment.

These letters date from 1981 on up to the present day. I'm opening up quite a few of them for the very 1st time, having thrown them in a box in the garage for years immediately after receiving them...knowing I'd need them as "proof" one day.
Anyway, my Uncle Michael passed away years ago...though I'm sure deep down my mother thinks he's still alive somewhere plotting his next move against me. Many of her letters were chock full of warnings about him. Not to worry though...there's always someONE or someTHING to fear.
Enjoy!
And please..."spread the neurosis..."

My partner and my son's stepfather was killed two weeks ago today in a bike accident.

I am fighting the urge to be your mother! I tell you, it could happen! I'm going to read your blog to make sure my little man doesn't get a sweater in the boys locker room...

S'me-What a horrific tragedy! Oh my Lord! I'm SO sorry for you and your son's loss, and am truly humbled that you've stopped by my little blog.

Don't fight the urge to be my mother, though. In the end, with tons of controversial therapy, miscellaneous drugs, unknown illnesses, alarming relations with curious strangers and countless nights of aimless, reckless driving while intoxicated...I turned out alright.

Seriously, my heart is with you both at this time and I look forward to speaking again.
